LinkedIn provides an API program to enable Page owners, including Page admins and their authorized third-party developers, to access their LinkedIn Pages data programmatically. The API is available to third parties and Page admins, such that they can build applications that integrate with LinkedIn, and upon the Page admin’s consent, the application can programmatically access the Page’s data.

Create a LinkedIn Page.

Create a developer application in the Developer Portal.

Apply to Pages Data Portability API below your app's Products tab.

Complete the access form.
After completing the Access Request Form, we’ll review and notify you of the status and outcome.
Check the status of your application
To check the status of your application:

Sign in to the Developer portal using your LinkedIn account.

Click My Apps and select the app you’re interested in.

Once in the app, select the Products tab.

The status of your application will be reflected under the Products tab. If denied, the reason for denial will be displayed.
Access Request Form denial
There are a variety of reasons your application to Pages Data Portability API may be rejected; including, but not limited to:
- Your application was missing required information such as your name, company name, or website.
Re-apply for the Pages Data Portability API
You can re-apply for the Pages Data Portability API, however, you’ll need to create a new app through our Developer Portal.
Application approved
You’ll receive an email notifying you of your acceptance to the Pages Data Portability API and additional information on how to get started. You’ll also receive details on how to seek technical support.

Important to know
The Page owners exporting your data setting gives members control over whether to share some of their profile data and individual interactions with Pages via the Pages Data Portability API. When a member’s privacy setting is turned off, relevant fields will be removed from the API response.
